Advisory related to Cotton farming

It is advised to all farmers must wear mask on his/ her face and hand must be washed frequently with any soap at least for 2 minutes and keep 2 feet distance during field work in pandemic of COVID 19 period.

There is a possibility of cloudy and light rainfall in the coming days, so farmers are advised to keep in mind the weather conditions while spraying pesticides in vegetables and crops.

Farmers are advised to collect soil sample from top 30 cm soil depth for soil testing. Soil testing should be done from Soil testing certified agencies or govt dept.

Cotton- Sowing of cotton should be start during this week. Improved verities are American variety: Hybrid-8, DCH-32, BT cotton: PRCH-9605, PRCH-333, SWCS-4746, Ankur3244 and Paras chetek.
