Advisory for the farmers growing Tomato, Capsicum, Brinjal, Cauliflower and Chilli
TOMATO- Keeping in view the possibility of moderate rain in the coming days, do not irrigate the maize crop.
CAPSICUM- In hilly regions, proper drainage should be maintained in the field of capsicum crop during monsoon season and fruit picking should be done timely.
BRINJAL- Keeping in view the rainfall condition in the coming days, do not accumulate the rain water in the brinjal crop.
CAULIFLOWER- Keeping in view the weather forecast, proper drainage should be maintained in the field of Cauliflower.
CHILLI- Transplanting of Chilli may be done on the ridge with a row to row and plant to plant distance of 50 cm and proper drainage should be made because excess amount of water for about 24 hours in the field dried up the crop.
