Advisory for farmers cultivating Wheat, Lentil, Garlic and Mustard

WHEAT- To control the weed in the wheat, first and second weeding and hoeing should be done after 25-30 days and 45-50 days of sowing respectively.

GARLIC- Agronomic operation like Weeding and hoeing and top dressing of urea should also be given in the garlic crop.

MUSTARD- On the occurrence of aphid in the mustard crop, the solution of 50-100g of Thiamethoxam 25 WG in 600-700 lit of water per hectare should be sprayed.

LENTIL- Agronomic practices like weeding and hoeing should be done and postpone the irrigation by keeping in view the rainfall forecast on 28 December.
