Advisory for farmers cultivating Wheat, Barley, Mustard and Garlic
WHEAT- Weeding should be done after hoeing in the wheat crop sown in unirrigated condition and recommended weedicide should be used for weed control in the irrigated wheat crop.
BARLEY- In barley crop, weeding should be done as per need.
Necessary irrigation should be given after 20-25 days of sowing and top-dressing of the recommended amount of nitrogen should be applied.
Spraying of chemicals and irrigation should be given by keeping in view the weather forecast.
MUSTARD- Thinning is recommended in timely sown mustard crop.
GARLIC- Weeding and hoeing should be done in the crop and on the occurrence of thrips, spray fipronil 5 SC @ 2ml/lit.
