Advisory for farmers cultivating Potato, Mango and Cauliflower

POTATO- Early blight disease is being seen in potato and the upcoming season is also favorable for it.

• Therefore, farmers are advised to spray Mancozeb at the rate of 2.5 g/L immediately.
• In valley, to save the potato from frost timely irrigation should be applied at required interval.

MANGO- To save the newly transplanted seedlings of Papaya and Mango from frost, dry straw should be collected and plants should be covered by them.

CAULIFLOWER- Cover the plants with plastic sheet or add heat to protect them from the frost.
