Advisory for farmers cultivating maize and soybean crops

Maize- There are possibilities of rainfall in coming days, So farmers are advised to top dress remaining dose of Urea (40 kg h h-1) in maize at tasseling stage.

1. Foliar liar spray of Emamectin Benzoate 5 SG @ 0.4 g/l water should be done for the control of Fall Army Worm in maize.
2. Spray should be done when sky is clear.

Soybean- Spray Acephate 75 SP one g/litre or Triazophos 40 EC one ml/litre at 20 days interval for the control of Girdle beetle in soybean.
