Advisory for farmers cultivating Maize and Soybean crops

MAIZE- There is possibility of light rainfall in coming days so farmers who have not yet sown maize are advised to start sowing of maize intercrop with black gram are advised after receiving of sufficient rainfall. The farmers who have already sown the crop are advised to remove the weed from crop and take measures to conserve moisture in the field.

SOYABEAN- The farmers who have already sown the crop are advised to remove the weed from crop and soil mulching should be done for moisture conservation. Where the irrigation facilities are available give life saving irrigation to the crop.
