Advisory for farmers cultivating lemon and brinjal crops

LEMON- If there is an outbreak of mite in lemon and if the number is less, then crush it by hand and destroy it otherwise spraying of fipronil 5SC @2ml/lit should be done. Spraying of chemicals should be done by keeping in view the weather forecast.

BRINJAL- On the occurrence of whitefly in brinjal, thiamethoxam 25 WDG 200gm/500lit water/ha or pyriproxyfen 5 +fenpropathrin 15 EC @ 700ml/500lit water/ha should be sprayed. Spraying of chemicals should be done in clear weather.
