Advisory for farmers cultivating gram, onion, brinjal and pea crops

GRAM- Complete the normal sowing of gram in the second fortnight of November.

• Sowing of chickpea varieties like Pant Kabuli Chana 1, 2 should be done in irrigated condition.

ONION- Farmers are advised to sow the onion in plains and tarai region.

BRINJAL- Weeding and hoeing should be done in brinjal crop and ripened fruit should be sent to the market.

PEA- Sow the seeds of pea in areas where sowing is not done.

• In the Terai area, the sowing of seed must be completed by the second week.
