Advisory for farmers cultivating fruits of Apple, Pomegranate and Mango

Apple- Farmers are advised to harvest the ripened apples grown in Mid and high hills of the state and send them to the market.

• To control the attack of Alternaria leaf spot disease spray Metiram 55%+ Pyraclostrobin 5%WG @ 200gm in 200 L of water.

Pomegranate- Spray of Cypermethrin 25 EC 80 ml in 200 L of water to control the attack of Anar butterfly.

• To control fruit rot spray Mencozeb @ 600 gm and Carbendazim @100 gm in 200 L of water.

Mango- Keep the basin of the plants slightly higher than rest of orchard soil.

• Apply white wash mixture containing copper sulphate on the main trunks of fruit trees to protect them from diseases.
