Advisory for farmers cultivating Chick Pea and Black Gram crops

CHICK PEA- Start the sowing of gram under conserved moisture. Gram varieties are: GNG 1581, GNG 1958, GNG 2144, CSJ 515 and Pratap Chana 1. Before sowing of seed should be treated with 2 g bavistin & 6 g trichoderma and also treated with P.S.B and Rhizobium culture. Keep the seed rate 70 to 80 kg / ha and the row to row distance keep 30 cm.

BLACK GRAM- Harvest the green gram & black gram at physiological maturity when the pod color turn brown to black, otherwise there may be a decrease in production due to scattering the legumes.
