Advisory for farmers cultivating Barseem and Mustard

MUSTARD- Present weather conditions are highly favourable to sclerotinial rot.

• So, on the occurrence of Sclerotinia rot in mustard crop, remove infected plant and burn.
• Spray, 700 g of carbendazim or 700 ml propiconazole in 700 lit of water per ha on flowers.
• Leaves and stem at 10-15 days interval 2-3 three spray in case of more than 10 per cent infected plants.
• Spraying should be done when the weather is clear, keeping in mind the weather forecast.

BARSEEM- Present weather conditions are highly favorable to sclerotinial rot.

• So, on the occurrence of Sclerotinia rot in barseem, remove infected plant and burn.
