Advisory for farmers cultivating Barseem and Mustard
MUSTARD- Present weather conditions are highly favourable to sclerotinial rot.
So, on the occurrence of Sclerotinia rot in mustard crop, remove infected plant and burn.
Spray, 700 g of carbendazim or 700 ml propiconazole in 700 lit of water per ha on flowers.
Leaves and stem at 10-15 days interval 2-3 three spray in case of more than 10 per cent infected plants.
On increasing the outbreak of aphid in the mustard crop, the solution of 50-100g of Thiamethoxam 25 WG in 600-700 lit of water per hectare should be sprayed in clear weather.
