Advisory for farmers cultivating Apple, Pomegranate, Kiwi and Mango plants

Apple- Farmers are advised to harvest the ripened apples grown in mid and high hills of the state and send them to the market.

• To control the attack of Alternaria leaf spot disease spray Metiram 55%+ Pyraclostrobin 5%WG @ 200gm in 200 L of water.

Pomegranate- Harvesting of pomegranate fruits and send them to the market after proper packing.

Kiwi- Summer pruning, to avoid the unwanted growth of the kiwi vines.

Mango- Keep the basin of the plants slightly higher than rest of orchard soil.

• Apply white wash mixture containing copper sulphate on the main trunks of fruit trees to protect them from diseases.
