Seeds of various varieties of Paddy are available at PAU

This is to notify that seeds of various varieties of paddy are avaiable at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and the seed farms, crop science centres, research centers and farm advisory service centers established in its various districts. It includes PR 131, PR 130, PR 129, PR 128, PR 126, PR 121, PR 114 and PR 113 rice varieties with an average yield of 30-31 quintals per acre and Basmati varieties Punjab Basmati 7 and Pusa Basmati 1121. Standard seeds of other crops are also available at all centres.

Punjab Basmati 7 and Pusa Basmati 1121 (8 and 24 kg) - Rs.600 and Rs.1800

Note: The seed shop at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana will be open seven days a week. Farmers are requested to contact the concerned officer in the following district before going to buy seeds. Please go to the concerned center of the university, only after contacting.
