New Wheat variety Karan Vadehi (DBW 370) has been developed by ICAR-Indian Institute of Wheat & Barley Research Karnal.

Main Characteristics:

Recommended for cultivation under irrigated early sown conditions of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and some parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal.
The average yield is 74.9q/ha.
Best Chapati quality score (8.3/10).
High Protein content (12%).
