S. Malkeet Singh joined the Department of Horticulture, Sangrur as Horticulture Development Officer (HDO) in 1996. In 1999, he got transferred to Ludhiana as HDO and then in 2003 to Phillaur. From 2007 onwards, he is serving the department of Horticulture, Moga. In January 2020, he got promoted as Assistant Director Horticulture, Moga. In Punjab state, he has organized a number of camps at the district and village level and helped a number of farmers in getting training in horticulture.
