Main Features of Super SMS developed by PAU
“PAU Super SMS” is a rear combine mounted device developed by PAU, Ludhiana with the help of which paddy straw can be spread evenly in the field before sowing wheat. This device breaks the fallen straw into pieces and distributes it evenly throughout the field.
Main Features:
- By evenly spread stubble, the crop remains consistent across the field and wheat germinates well.
- The moisture from the coarse and uniform loose straw dries up quickly which reduces the straw load in the field. This increases the working capacity of wheat sowing machines like Happy Seeder, Smart Seeder, and Super Seeder and reduces diesel consumption.
