Control of weeds in Kharif Maize

• After 15 to 30 days of sowing, two weedings with hoe, or tractor-tiller should be done.
• Spray Atrazine @800 gm in medium to heavy soils and 500 gm in light soils dissolved in 200 liters of water within 10 days after sowing.
• Spray 105 ml Tembotrione dissolved in 150 liters of water about 20 days after sowing.
• To control Cyperus rotundus, spray 2,4-D amine salt 58SL dissolved in 150 liters of water after 20-25 days of sowing.
