Advisory related to Bajra (Pearl Millet) for upcoming days:

• In the millet fields, where more plants have grown, remove them on rainy days and plant in a place where the number of plants is less. This work should be done within about 15 days of seed germination.
• Weeding should be done once in 20-25 days after sowing of millet crop.
• To control weeds with broad leaves in millet crop, apply 500 gm of 2,4 D in 400 to 500 litres of water in 25-30 days after sowing. Immediately after sowing of crop, spray Atrazine 1 kg / ha in 400 to 500 litres of water to control hybrid and weeds with broad leaves.
