Harchand Singh is a successful commercial dairy farmer from Mohali district of Punjab. After taking 6 months training in Dairy Farming from PAU Kissan Club and 4 months training from NDDB Jalandhar in Artificial Insemination, today he is rearing 100 cows in his farm. Within the span of 6 years in dairy farming, he has received more than 400 awards, certificates, appreciations, conference and event invites from recognised organizations and institutions. He has vast experience of rearing both HF and Jersey cows and he want to share this information with other dairy farmers as well.

• State level award in 2008 from Prakash Singh Badal in dairy farming • Received Mukhyamantri Award from GADVASU in 2010 • ATMA Scheme awarded him with best farmer award in 2011 • All India Champion in Dairy Farming from PDFA • His HF cow made record of 47.485 Lt Milk in 2009 in a competition organized by NDRI • Member of PAU Kissan Club.
