Mr. Gursharan Singh is practicing turmeric cultivation and has set up a processing plant for turmeric. He is doing packaging and marketing with the help of his friend Navdeep Singh, under the brand name “PindR”. Gursharan has more than 10 products which includes Raw Turmeric, Raw Turmeric Pickle, Turmeric Powder, Powder, Sabji Masala, Butter Milk (lassi), Curd, Chat Masala, Cumin seeds, Gram Flour (Besan), Tea masala etc. Besides making food processsing a profitable venture, he also encourages other farmers to adopt food processing along with farming to earn more revenues.
