Dr. Chittranjan Mallik is Deputy Director in (National Livestock Mission), Directorate of AH & VS, Odisha, Cuttack and working as an Officer & General Manager, in OLRDS, well co-ordination with other premier organizations of the Country like NDDB, NDRI, SLDBS,BAIF, JKTGVY and others for implementation of Cattle & Buffalo Development activities in Odisha

• Organization of Milk Marketing in remote area of Kalahandi district during 90's. Now, it is the premier milk producing society under the District Milk Union, Kalahandi. • Establishment of MPCS & Chilling Units in coordination with the State Milk Federation. • Popularization of Cattle and Buffalo development through organised breeding & related schemes in districts like Ganjam & Cuttack. • Survey & Characterization of Native Cattle & Buffalo breeds of Odisha. • Planning & Formulation Projects on Cattle & Buffalo Development of the State under NPCBB & NPBB under Central Assistance & other projects under RKVY & State Assistance, their implementation and monitoring. • Leading role for formulation of Perspective Plan in ARD Sector- 2010-20 of the State during 2010-11. • Active role in Revisiting the State Bovine Breeding Policy (2015), Odisha. • As an Officer & General Manager, in OLRDS, he co-ordinates with other premier organizations of the Country like NDDB, NDRI, SLDBS,BAIF, JKTGVY and others for implementation of Cattle & Buffalo Development activities in Odisha.
