Puneet Singh Thind comes from an agriculturist family of Punjab with Masters in International Business (MIB), Commerce graduate (B.Com) and certified in Export Management. Worked in International Marketing for three years and then Reversly- Migrated to Farming. In 2009, at the age of 26, moved to Africa for large scale farming. Back in India, associated with Farmers Associations VGAI & Rashtriya Kissan Sangathan, in-charge of North India operations. Got inspired from Dad Sr. (Late) Gurcharan Singh Thind, who led a life with social-service motto, decided to make best use of acquired skills for the welfare of agriculture and farmers in India. Presently working in collectivisation of farmers through promoting Farmers Producer Organization- FPOs in India.

Selected by Department of State, USA from India for International Program on Agriculture in 2017. • Honored by Arkansas State Governor, USA as an Esteemed Guest. • National Director with Vegetable Growers Association of India • National Co-Convener with All India Farmers Alliance (A I FA) & Rashtriya Kisan Sangathan. • First farmer from Haryana & youngest one to invest in Large Scale Agriculture in Ethiopia (East Africa) at the age of 27 in 2009. • First Dairy FPO established in Haryana established in Village Naneola, Dist Ambala in 2015. • For the first time in India, grown Colored Wheat in India (Black, Purple and Blue Wheat with enriched A nthyosyni n) in 2018. • Promoted 65 FPOs in Maharashtra, Haryana & Punjab and mobilized more than 15,000 farmers. • Promoted a Startup 'FARM GROCER' in 2016 with a focus on linking Authentic Produce of Farmers from different states; directly to consumers under a common brand. • Member in Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry's (FICCI) A grochemi cal s Sub-Committee.
