Gurdev Kaur Deol is an emerging agripreneur from Ludhiana. She is mainly active in the domain of food processing from organically grown things. With the main purpose of promoting organic farming and empowering rural community women, she started a group - Global Self Help Group in 2008. And today, with more than 18 years of experience in the field of food processing, she has connected approx 400 farmers (Men & Women) under the same group in Punjab. Now her group is turned into an NGO and also has tie-up with NABARD. She is processing and marketing around 32 products under her brand - Global Self Help Group. With her experience, she want to expand her platform and educate the farmers of Punjab towards food processing for better income.
