Gobinder Singh Randhawa aka Jonty Randhawa, is an emerging beekeeper and is flourishing in this work with great success. He started beekeeping after getting inspired by his village’s head- Sardar Baldev Singh in 2003 with 114 honey bee boxes by taking a loan of Rs. 2,80,000 and today he has around 1000 honey bee boxes. He has also started an association cum group by the name “BIG B” in year 2004 to support other people associated with beekeeping business. Today he is guiding more than 300 people under this group. Bee wax and honey are two main products which he is currently producing and exporting abroad also. He uses all the natural way to prevent the pest attack to maintain the good quality of honey. Royal Jelly, Honey Bee Pollen Grains and Bee Venom are few products which he is planning to launch in the upcoming time.
